PACK PAST SIMPLE (IRREGULAR VERBS)

Hoy os traigo estos recursos que ayudarán a que nuestro alumnado aprenda de una manera más efectiva los verbos irregulares 📑

Como muchos sabéis este curso he estado en un colegio dónde la situación del alumnado era bastante desfavorable. Al principio no las tenía todas conmigo en que se aprendiesen el pasado de los verbos irregulares, pero para mi asombro…terminaron sabiéndoselos bastante bien 👌🏻

Esto sin duda ha sido gracias a una ficha que realicé dónde el alumnado debía de “averiguar” cuál era el pasado de un verbo buscando similitudes entre el presente y el pasado. Para que después les resultase más fácil estudiárselo dividí los verbos en grupos (reglas mnemotécnicas) que siguiesen unas determinadas formas; es decir, intentar hacer lo irregular un poco más regular 😅

Además, también os comparto un resumen sobre la afirmativa, negativa y pregunta del pasado simple y un bingo-find someone who que motiva a nuestro alumnado a usar la lengua inglesa para preguntar a sus compañeros sobre situaciones en el pasado 🙌🏼🗣️

Today I bring you these resources that will help our students learn irregular verbs in a more effective way 📑

As many of you know, this year I have been in a school where the situation of the students was quite unfavourable. At the beginning I didn't think they would learn the past tense of irregular verbs, but to my astonishment... they ended up knowing them quite well 👌🏻

This was undoubtedly thanks to a worksheet I made where the students had to "find out" what the past tense of a verb was by looking for similarities between the present and the past. In order to make it easier for them to study it later, I divided the verbs into groups (mnemonic rules) that followed certain forms; in other words, trying to make the irregular a little more regular 😅

In addition, I also share with you a summary about the affirmative, negative and question of the past simple and a bingo-find someone who that motivates our students to use the English language to ask their classmates about situations in the past 🙌🏼🗣️
